Nexus...By Google??

Don't be surprised, Google is not just a favorite search engine nowadays. They have launched their own phone which to me will be as powerful as their own search engine too. Behold, Nexus One - a phone that will match the existence of iPhone, or maybe more better than iPhone! Nexus One will use the same OS as HTC (in cooperation to be exact) with Snapdragon 1ghz processor, touchscreen of course and with a big 5 megapixel camera. The design is quite slick with Google logo at the back of the phone. You can of course google more about Nexus One in the internet, hehe. But I would love to have this phone someday!!

Wadihah First School

Well, she envied her cuzzie Afrina having her school yesterday. So my bro in law decided to let her off to school today instead of tomorrow. Wadihah seemed to be well prepared for her KG2 session this year. Unlike Afrina's KG1 classroom, the KG2 is a bit crowded and I saw her a bit tremble at first but managed to click herself with her new friends/mates :) I fetched both 'em today (including Aiman), all of 'em were happy with their school day (despite Afrina was crying when I sent her to school this morning due to lack of sleep..hahaha)

They are just growing...yes, time does fly away~

Afrina's First Day Of School

Three years ago I published Aiman's first school pic in my late Rated666 blogspot. So today is the first day of school in Brunei; in which it was the first day for Afrina too, having her KG1 life..hehe. Like I expected, I can count on her. She remained cool even though there was a sense of wanna-cry-go-to-home-thingie in a glimpse, but it was soon gone as her teacher distracted her with toys and eventually giving me the space to leave the school. She was okay until I fetched her at 11.40am along with Aiman. I really count on her, she is a tough girl :) Happy schooling my beloved JDM gal xD

Aiman's New Cousin

Congratulation to Capt Khairollah + Capt Dr Norasiah for having their first baby on 29/12/09. Cute little boy; it does remind me of my Aiman too and a few says he looks like his cousin Mirah too..hehe. Whatever it is, do have a lovely experience nurturing the baby okay? It will be challenging yet definitely awesome xD

Get Boosted

A lucky good friend of mine finally got this boost controller in his grip for it is the one and only left in Brunei now. Sing Hiap Hin brought only two in Brunei for sale. One had been sold and the last one bought earlier today by my friend..hehe. This is an advance electronic boost controller by Aussie's infamous Turbosmart. It has 30 pages of booklet to be read and understood. The bad side of this thing is SHH's inhouse tuner, Mr Ohura doesn't know how to set it up. A very complicated gadget with scramble boost and the great thing about e-Boost2 is that you can set your boost in every gear shift! Imagine, your first gear the boost is set around 0.8 bar, 2nd gear you can set around 1 bar; 3rd gear you push further like 1.2 bar...and so forth; you can feel the difference and the force from each gear you have set. Anyway, it depends on your recommended boost okay :)

Big Space Needed!

2 years in the making...now we have our own staggered external hard disk. We prefer the $99 = 500gb from CF King, it sold out already by the time we're checking it out. So like the best option will be this one, a 640gb $136 hard disk. Not bad for the price ayte? Years ago, $1 = 1 mb. Just imagine if the price is still the same...gulp!!!!!

The Beast Will Change Owner

This R33 will be having a new owner. So before everything is sealed, the car was fully inspected at Sing Hiap Hin by engine experts there. The car was just freshly rebuilt and currently just around 3000KM of mileage. The powerful engine and mightily growling exhaust will be perfected when Mr Ohura aimed to further tune it to a freaking 800HP at the wheel!!!

Congrats to the owner. A very good choice!!

An Epic Adventure Of Years To Come

If you want something epic, adventure, unique, one of a kind, mesmerizing out of this world kind of movie, I recommend you to watch it. 2 hours and 40 minutes it will bring you to a world of fantasy; violent yet beautiful. Violent by the hands of the mortal humans - beautiful because the world there is attached between the forest itself and the Na'vi native. Who are they? What is Avatar? The answer is there if you watch the movie..hehe

Somewhere At Indoor Stadium

The year end showcase was held for 4 days at Indoor Stadium, Berakas. For four days, you'll see some show cars from presented by some of car agents in Brunei and of course, modified cars and in car entertainments from the aid of our own individuals of car lovers.

There were also shows like car park stunt, go kart racing, r/c racing, motorbikes display and indoor expo from electronic to consumer products. Very nice and happening. If you're tasty or hungry, food stalls were there to entertain your desires..lol.

Despite the hot weather, lots of people from all districts and the tourists supporting the showcase, visiting this place without having much complaints and stuffs like that. If there were bouncers, I bet the kids would feel the extra fun too :)

Well, hope next year's showcase would be more happening than this. I always dream of the kind of SEMA + CES showcases in which we have car shows and things related to that taking place inside the stadium rather than outside. The participants don't have to wipe their cars that much due to after rain or dusts from the road; instead shining the cars more with polish or wax. Hmmm, limited stadium internal? It still can be done!!

Greedy Because Of GReddy

Lol, nevermind the title.. If you don't really know what this is, it is a gadget that can monitor your engine from boost to water temperature, from throttle to ignition made by Japanese top aftermarket maker, GReddy. It is so detailed that everything can be customized with just a touch of your fingertip. Yes, it is a touch screen item that if you looked at it closely, it will remind you a bit of certain types of handphones like HTC or iPhone. Very handy stuff, I would want one too xD

Unexpectedly Done

Who would ever think that unplanned things usually work quite good right? My kids were tagged along with Zulerah's kids to Pantai Seri Kenangan with just a short plan and everything did work ok. And in the end, they were all off to Jerudong at Zulerah's home. Another unexpected thing that never came across my mind..lol. Anyways, the kids did the schedule that day, not us the parents actually. What mattered was, enjoy it while you still can :D

Muqri didn't have extra clothes to play on the beach and he didn't want to play there either. Minutes after that, he was off to the beach with Aiman's extra clothes..hahaha

MU fans, their mother's too. While I am always a Liverpool lover :D

Muqri and Wadihah know how to act in front of the lens

Break time. Having foods/cold drinks before meeting the beach for the second round

He will look a bit annoying everytime lens is focused at him

Syahmi and Mirah came with their grannies..also unexpectedly xD

The Solution

My wife's car had been noisy for more than a year I think, it comes from the steering wheel. Some said it was due to the steering pump problem; and if that is the case, that would cost more than $1000 to replace it...a big sum of money!

Fortunately, when my bro in law brought his Honda Stream to a workshop which encountered the same noisy problem, the mechanic who at first thought it was the steering pump that might caused the noise tried his luck servicing the steering fluid by sucking it all out and replacing with a new fluid. The result was amazing, like the sound erased and the engine is back to normal sound even in idle mode. I brought my wife's car there and asked the mechanic to do the same thing and yessss....the problem solved!!!

Just imagine if we really do replacing the steering pump in which the changing of fluid is actually the answer, that would cost us nothing but a migraine at the end of the month!!!

Anyway, bye bye to irritating sound!!

A Certificate In Memory

Finally, Aiman with his KG3 certificate..hehe. Too bad he is going to repeat next year due to his young age..pffft. Well, his position in class isn't that encouraging but his personal achievements from mid to end of the year's exam is positive. I think next year it would be far more better for him to re-learning again with new mates of his own age. As of now...

9 Horror Stories

Malaysia's horror movies? They're all hype and lame. Inspired too much of Korean/Japan horror sets and they're trying their best to be like 'em without seeing the rubbish they've made in the end. I disgust Malay horror movies since Mistik!

But...there is a but. When I read about Skrip 7707 somewhere in a Malaysian mag, it tickled me like to have a try on this one and the synopsis is a bit catchy to my interest. 9 horror stories in a single movie? Hmmm, it maybe worth a buy ey? In fact, if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time Prof. Madya A. Razak Mohaideen (an infamous Malaysia director who direct so many humor movies) directing a horror genre of movie. How good is he to jump on a bandwagon and trying a new thing that demands pure virtue without being selfishly labeled as another director wanted to do something sold out but he can't because he's only good for comedy movies only???

Honestly, I did like this movie!! 9 different stories with 9 different kind of scary scenes and with 9 horrific faces of death are fun enough to watch. Each scene has its originality that the mystery doesn't just end with 9 stories; infact it remains haunting your mind at the end of the plot too. Music backgrounds are also neatly done, not over exaggerating the scene itself...I personally like the music at the beginning of this movie. Quite beat-pumping actually.

I can't tell you the whole story, I don't want to be a spoiler too, lol. But to me, Skrip 7707 is safe to say as the beginning of a new era for Malaysia's own horror film industry coz if those guys wanna set their budgets on doing a ghost film, better have a nice-constructing script like this movie; non cheesy film quality and of course, a very good director like the Prof himself :D You might wanna try it but don't blame me if you still don't like it okay...hahaha.

Playlist December 2009

I never like my journey to work. Though it takes only like 20 minutes to reach there, using the same bouncing road everyday does give me a headache. Anyway, every journey needs entertainment somehow. I listen to a lot of music, but those below are randomly played at this very moment :D

Immortal - All Shall Fall
The best ever release from Norwegian Immortal ever since their reformation in 2007. This legendary Black Metal band do put all their strength to produce quality music that only they can construct it. Often imitate, never duplicate!!!

Jedi Mind Tricks - A History Of Violence
Love their songs and what more, the combination of gangsta rap and classical music do personalize beauty in a disturbed reality of this mad world. An art that comes from true musicians that make music because they are able to, not because of fame.

Orphaned Land - Sahara
Well, if you're talking about oriental music in metal industry, I can recommend Orphaned Land. This band has been around more than a decade ago. Sahara was their first album back in 1994, full of catchy riffs of Mid-East music combining it with Metal in general. A clever album to be precise.

Nappy Roots - The Humdinger
There is something about this group that differs them from many sold out rap/hip hop players out there. I've listened to this album since last year and y'know, although there are many albums to listen during that period, The Humdinger always be there in my USB so like every month I'll keep on playing their tracks. The music is relaxing, simple but with lots of integrity that makes me wonder, how many groups out there do really achieve what this industry need?

Lady Gaga - The Fame
Lady Gaga is to me a phenomena in music industry. The uniqueness of her and the songs she sings somehow remind me of...none!! She stands alone as she is the trademark. I can't hardly compare her of any other artists around. The music is fun though some people see her lyrics are nothing but junks. I care less about the lyrics. I only care more about her music :D

End Of The World?

Got the time at last to watch 2012 at Empire Cinema. We didn't have to worry about seats no more since it has been weeks 2012 on cinema, so the population is now to extinction :) Furthermore, there were like only 10 of those who populated the seats that day since New Moon and Ninja Assassin tickets are on sale like hot cakes now..hehehe.

Considering 2012 a reality; it will be a gigantic mass destruction of our world. Not just earthquakes hit all the countries, the worst case scenarios follow by brutal volcanic eruptions (Yellowstone Lake for example) and Tsunamis from North goes to South. Where in the end you have no where to live, no where to hide, just pray to God for all the sins to be forgiven. Except like what 2012 movie portrays the way to stay alive is to rent any of the 4 Arks (kind of monstrous ships) which costs ya 1 Billion Euros per ticket!!! The only chance to live another world, re-creating new civilizations. The movie ends with a view of the Earth with a geographically different Africa. Anyway, don't take it seriously okay, there will always be a 2013 ahead and um, my personal loan will be fully paid by 2014!!!

Speaking of this movie, I am satisfied with it. It really freaks me out from the very beginning. The ending is okay too, not that sort of a happy ending. It's more like a victory for those who live. The sound effects were so effective that it fulfills what I dreamed most when watching this kind of movie. I truly love it. It worth every dollar inside your wallet to spend for movies like this.

Hmmm, maybe Ninja Assassin would create a different feel? Let me check the cinema very, very soon ^^

PSP Reloaded

Hoho...it's been a while since my son's PSP sleep to extinction. Well, not really that unplayable though; it's just I accidentally upgraded its Official Firmware (OFW) from the modified version 3.72 m33 to OFW 6.10 which is used by PSP Go right now. In which, it has got any modified or custom firmware as yet or anything related to playing downloaded games that you got from your friends or the friendly websites. Unless you buy it from Sony official PSP sites, then you can play it.

Custom firmware really worth it ^^b

Hmmm, more than a month without PSP really made my son so unhappy eventhough there are computer games , iPhone games and game consoles at home. It still don't match how portable PSP is to him..lol. Anyway I had scouted 2 people who do modifying/upgrading things for PSP but to my sorrow, they couldn't downgrade the OFW to the current modified Custom Firmware (CFW) 5.50 Gen A to D. I was thinking of buying a new one to replace the already-dead PSP but anyway, I scouted for more people who really know how to downgrade it with their tools. I know how to downgrade, but I don't have enough tools to do it and eventually, it requires extra money to do so.

Yeah!!! At last, GI Joe on PSP

Thank God I met this young genius from his advertisement on the internet that really brightened my day when he said: it's a piece of cake to downgrade your PSP firmware!!! Wow, he really knows what he is doing dude..hahaha!!

Gran Turismo... this is for me, not my son!!!

Now the PSP got a stable firmware and with this upgraded 5.50 I can easily play more advanced games like Fifa 10, Gran Turismo or GI Joe (in which I think these games cannot be played if your OFW is below 5.00).... Phewww!!

Aslan (Thanks a lot Mr Hanan, you're a live saver!!!)

Unpleasant Views

First look, it seemed like we just hit by an earthquake or maybe a freaking tornado, but the ceilings were actually collapsed because of water from up stair. Both were caused by leaks from 2 of our bathrooms on the first floor. Well, one of these ceilings had been fixed by the owner though while the other one has to wait for further inspection on how to eliminate the leaks for good. Anyway, the rental house we're currently settled in is 20 years old already, so problems do occur. But we have a very generous landlord who responds quickly everytime we lodge our friendly complaints when the house needs its fix :))

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

The Joes

I waited for a very long time to have GI Joe's excellent picture quality movie (and sound quality too) on DVD since I missed watching it on cinema due to my busy schedules. Well, bought it 2 days ago since my son Aiman loves it (he plays the video game first before actually watches the movie).

Story-wise, I like it from the very beginning of the movie. It's not that complicated but every flash back from some of the characters are done well without exaggerating the whole story. So like with a little flashback you can understand why characters like Ana Lewis becomes evil, Rex (Ana's brother) is actually not dead and he's the mad scientist genius called The Doctor (then changes his name to Cobra Commander) and the true connections between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Besides the action packs and beautifully enhanced effects, simple humors are sometimes worth it and viewers like myself do cheer up with the acts from
Marion Wayan and Said Taghmaoui. These things are well balanced in this movie, making it one of the powerful movies in 2009. Well, the continuity will be scheduled in 2010 I think with the title "The Pursuit Of Cobra". If that happens, I hope it will be more in-your-face feel than the previous "The Rise Of Cobra"!!!

Nusa Jaya Tutong Convocation 2009

Held at Dewan Seri Kenangan Tutong around 2.30pm, the convocation was a success with beautiful props and many happy faces from the candidates and participants. The parents were also very supportive, not just sat on the chair but stand in front of the stage or somewhere near to it; taking photos and videos of their kids in which it did give their children the spirits to become more productive and realistic when they performed on stage. Smiling faces from teachers, believing all their hard works to train these pupils how to dance, sing and speak on this very stage were worth it. I can say this year's convocation was far more better than last year. Thank you Nusa Jaya for giving us parents the best outcome and also to our children :D

Current TV Fav-List November 2009

Love this series, the hosts are not that exaggerating, great car reviews and their thoughts on each car is splendid :) Really love watching Tiff drifting around with a JDM drift car!!!

This should be my no. 1 TV programme. But I'm so tired with their cheesy plot in every of their episode. So sometimes I'll let my self miss one or two episodes within 2 weeks just to wait until its pay-per-view prevails

You all should know how funny these ladies are. My favorite will always be Teri Hatcher coz eversince she did Lois Lane on Superman many years ago, her humors never fade away, she chills a lot here. So do the rest (and of course, the husbands too!)

Don't really remember when did I first watch Oprah. It must be when I started married with my wife 6 years ago that led me into loving this show. I'm not a fanatic but everytime I accidentally change the channel and it's Oprah's show, I will watch it until the end. It is a very interesting and informative show actually, especially when she tent to help the poor, she is a very generous lady, no doubt *thumbs up*

This is very new to me but when World Stage is on air, I really enjoy watching the show especially some great bands doing the concert with lots of screaming crowds off the stage. A very good refreshment to clear the mind :)

New Shoes

After 2 years of having served to us, our Potenza GIII needed a replacement and I must say this tyre did a very good job for the whole 2 years not just it had been a wonderful companion on the road, been stuck with rusty nail, lacked of alignment, but all four of 'em worked just damn good.

The replacements in mind were varied; from Kumho to Yokohama. Just that me and my wife couldn't bear ourselves leaving Bridgestone's name out of our sight. No matter what people may say about Potenza, it didn't affect our feelings at all cuz as a consumer myself, I follow what I had already experienced with certain brands and when these brands give their quality to me, why should I back 'em off?

Potenza RE001 Adrenalin is somehow the newer design replacing the Gs line ups. The feel is still the same and with such a statement like this:

The foundation of high performance driving is high level stability. The Adrenalin Potenza RE001's broader ground contact area delivers more steering information from the tyres. With better straight line stability, front / rear balance and faithful rear tyre tracking, the result is greater control giving drivers more options in varying conditions.

Hey, you can try it, with its affordable price it's a must to have great shoes if lower brands unsatisfied you. 2 years of raging driving with untidy roads here and there proved GIII as a type of tyre that gave us a full trust of its ability. Must be a good improvement for Adrenalin even though some say Adrenalin won't last that long as its predecessor. Is it? Lets wait and see ;)

Aslan (and why should Adrenalin be less better than GIII when we all know that a new design means better upgrade?! Tyre-wise my friend, not computer-wise!)

Monsoon

Tokio Hotel's infamous song "Monsoon" taken from their album "Screams" (2007). What I can say is, this song is awesome!!!

I'm staring at a broken door
There's nothing left here anymore
My room is cold, it's making me insane

I've been waitin' here so long
Another moment seems to have come
I see the dark clouds comin' up again

Running through the monsoon
Beyond the world 'til the end of time
Where the rain won't hurt
Fighting the storm into the blue

And when I lose myself I think of you
Together we'll be running somewhere new
Through the monsoon just me and you

A half moon fading from my sight
I see your vision in it's light
But now it's gone and left me so alone

I'll know I have to find you now
Can hear you name and don't know how
Why can't we make this darkness feel like home?

Running through the monsoon
Beyond the world 'til the end of time
Where the rain won't hurt
Fighting the storm into the blue

And when I lose myself I think of you
Together we'll be running somewhere new
And nothing can hold me back from you
Through the monsoon, hey, hey

I'm fighting all this power coming in my way
Let it take me straight to you
I've been running night and day

I'll be with you soon just me and you
We'll be there soon, so soon

Running through the monsoon
Beyond the world 'til the end of time
Where the rain won't hurt
Fighting the storm into the blue

And when I lose myself I think of you
Together we'll be running somewhere new
And nothing can hold me back from you
Through the monsoon

Through the monsoon
Just me and you
Through the monsoon
Just me and you

Candy

5 years ago I was so keened on what color should I used to re-paint my car. My biggest influence that time was the color samples came from House Of Kolors. You know their color schemes are amazing especially those cars in Australia. My pick was Candy Red or Candy Apple Red. The only problem here in Brunei was that there weren't any experts to paint this kind of color at that time. If to apply it incorrectly, the final finishing won't be that satisfying and you'll just wasting your money for the color you chose that turned out harsh in the end.

Eventually, I'd witnessed a candy red car from our own country with a very good finishing somewhere in Belait District a few weeks ago. Well, it was only from a pic though. But enough for me to satisfy that this paint can be done nowadays :D

The only question is that I'm not quite sure whether this type of car paint would survive our equatorial climate or not. Have to put extra care when having expensive color paint like this though. Below are some samples of cars with this color scheme:

Thunder Tears

Taiwan is synonym with groupbands like F4, Fahrenheit (our own local Wu Chun is the only non Tiawanese in this band), Y2J, Mayday, Lollipop..just to name a few. What people don't really know that there is another potential band there but with a totally different genre of music, namely Chthonic. Worry not, I am not about to compare these groups because there is no point of bragging who's the best in their music anyway. Chthonic is a band that plays Black Metal that sometimes they remind me of English's Cradle Of Filth. Anyway, to my interest, their bassist (also backing vocal), Doris Yeh aka Thunder Tears had been featured as a cover girl for FHM magazine Taiwan, Nov 2008. You know, how weird it is for a person that is so evil in attitude and showmanship turns erotic and "normal" in FHM. Ironic? An underground metal girl having photoshots for a commercial mag? I don't know, I just sometimes like changes too :D

Aslan (I totally love her voice, 'nuff sed!!)

That is one hot pose for a girl that does Black Metal musick :D

With her grotesque looking make up - musicwise

Doris performing on stage, I like!!!

Doris along with her band Chthonic, pic for their 5th album 2009. Freaking original!!

Racing Kings

While people put their thumbs up for Need For Speed: Shift and started to judging it with Gran Turismo, GT5 stands alone and I prefer to call it: superior. Gran Turismo since its first release is a very fun game to play. Despite all the licenses you have to achieve, the beauty of it starts when you play the game more deeply and winning more money and free hungry-for-horsepower cars for you to modify and put them for a test or two. GT climbs the ladder step by step with improvements I couldn't think of. With Gran Turismo 5 waiting to be launched soon, I can assure you this game will be as grand as GT used to be. I'm hoping for aftermarket parts, accessories and custom made aerokits to be popped inside the game though to make it more fun.

Talking about Need For Speed: Shift, I couldn't agree more this time EA makes a very lovely looking NFS with its powerful graphics. For computer gaming system, the minimum requirement is as low as ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB or Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT 256MB graphic card. I love to try the game yet my lappy has OEM graphic card only..pppfffTTT!!! With more than 70 real cars, I bet it will be awesome to have all those cars pimped with unique paints, staggered wheels and extreme aerodynamics. You should check it out and have it in HD quality LCD for the true simulating experience :D For Wii users, EA simply call it Need For Speed: Nitro. It should be out by this November 2009. Why they call it Nitro instead of Shift, I don't really know. What I possibly know is that the graphic won't be as stunning as Shift though but I do hope it'd be more better than the previous NFS: Undercover.

Forget about NFS, I beg you to check out Gran Turismo's official GT5 video clip below. It is sooooo attempting to have a PS3 soon *winxxxx*

Black Beauty

Introducing a lovely looking netbook from Asus, Eee PC 1008HA. Not much I can tell about this 10" netbook actually. It is just one super slim with just 1.1kg seashell design with beautiful looking color scheme and the processor is of course Intel Atom with up to 6 hours of battery supply. There is the obvious webcam, LED backlight, 160gb hd (and an extra 10gb online Eee storage), 2 USBs, SD card slot and fully gripped joypad, which I like the most. The speakers sound cool too, you can still listen to songs with it without caring much of distortions here and there. I think of all netbooks from Dell to Acer, HP to Sony; guess Eee PC 1008HA manages to clarify its standard with this revolutionary outcome. One thing for sure, the battery is built in inside its body. It's a bit risky (for those who think it is unwise to have battery built in inside the laptop) but come to think of it again, Asus have their own reason why it is made to be inside the body itself. Don't worry about overcharged, it won't. That's the specialty of it :D The pictures above aren't that satisfying I think, so you guys can check it out on the web for the proper looks.

Modestly Wicked

After months of the demise of my laptop, here comes the new one. You know how the price tags are dropping fast for computers and gadgets nowadays; so like, this Inspiron 13 is like half time more cheaper to compare with my old laptop but with the advantages of a higher processor, more expandable hard disk space and of course, everything is updated than the previous one I had :)

I used to aim for a netbook though. However, due to Intel Atom processor's uninspired me that much, I've to go for the basic Core 2 Duo. At first, I was kinda fascinated with IBM brand, lastly I'd to agree that Dell really suits me the most. money wise and also specifications wise.

What fascinates me the most is the speakers. Even though the speakers are integrated one without the support of such hi-tech surround or dolby thingies, it never disappoints me. Like when I turn the volume to the max, it doesn't distort or at least the distortion is so minimal that you can't hardly hear it. That's far more better than the sounds from a Vaio!! IAnyway, it doesn't matter though if you're not that satisfied with the speakers, coz many USB-based additional speakers are there for you to grab with the reasonable price.

All in all, Dell Inspiron 13 is one down to earth laptop. With its 1.8kg weight, it is a laptop that you can easily deal with. And from the first day I use it, it does inspire me a lot to be more productive when using it...hehehe.

Aslan (I need to change the graphic card someday though. Not that it sucks, I just need an upgrade sooner or later)

Sony Xplod

Bluetooth technology is now spreading to car's headunit. A good example is this Sony Xplod MEX-BT3600U. This is a CD/radio player that has it all (except for DVD + video that is). Not only it can give you great quality of sound and entertainment, it also provides you Bluetooth for handsfree and mobile music. It's a built in one that is really useful for those who love to make a call or two via phones or those who often receive calls from their phones.

A handy tool of masterpiece for its price

BT Audio refers to Bluetooth Audio. So far I have paired this unit with my SE K850i (other handphones may also be compatible except for iPhone I guess). With BT Audio you can easily play songs from your handphones via bluetooth device. Just choose the source button to BT Audio (make sure you on bluetooth devices from both your headunit + mobile phone) and voila!..you can now use your handphones to play the music inside it while the unit receives the songs depending on the volume of your phone, and the headunit's own volume too

BT Phone, typically for Bluetooth Phone. You can now speak freely without having your phone on your right grip and steer the wheel on the other side that would lead you to a summon by the police or an accident of course. The unit has a very good quality mic built-in inside for you to communicate and your car speakers to hear the voices from your callers/receivers. Eventhough you're listening to the songs when someone calls to your phone, the unit will automatically mute the speakers and ringtones appear just to let you know there is a call for you to pick up

USB device is the thing I love very much in a headunit. It means you can have extra lots of songs depending on how big the storage of your pendrive :D Below the USB you can see a Auxillary hole which once I've read the other owners of this player use it for iPod application

Other reviewers said that iPod cannot be played via the USB port provided, but when I tried it, it's fully functional. Just you can't select the folder inside your iPod via the unit. Instead, you can only play the songs randomly. I don't know why it is not played in alphabetical order though. Who cares, as long as I can enjoy the music from my iPod, that's more than enough

Basically, for the price of $B300 ++ , this headunit is far more cheaper than other units with the same function. Furthermore, from what I observe, lots of headunits out there provide bluetooth as an add on or optional which means whilst you have to pay for expensive headunits, you have to pay another extra dollars for the bluetooth device which is not that cheap!

Aslan (no iPod, no USB music, driving will be sux!!)

Clover...FIELD!!!!

Watching Cloverfield to me is creepier than watching the likes of "Jangan Tegur", "Sundel Bolong" just to name a few. It is not a horror based movie nor do you see Korean/Japanese like long hair ghosts here and there though; it is about New York becoming a target of Aliens attack. A big nasty monster landed from outta space destroying the city with dozens or maybe hundreds of spider-like aliens furiously hunting men and women, killing 'em mercilessly. Cloverfield is without musical backgrounds or stupid effects just to show how scary the scenes are. Moreover, you'll be watching the movie in shaky footage manner, like Blairwitch Project. Anyway, those of you who love horror type of movies would try to check it out, it'll traumatize you :D

The release date was somewhere last year in early January. You may want to check the trailer too

The X

This silver colored Evolution X is one of the used cars that has landed in Brunei. Well, it's a bit hype to see an Evo X here nowadays and honestly speaking, the chassis doesn't really appeal me unlike its old Evo IV, V, VI and not forgetting, the IX. Nevertheless, the X above is one good sample of how an average looking sport car looks a bit superior with simple mods that are certainly not overrating its original form. I truly desire it a lot just because of its easy (yet cruel) looking GReddy front lips, a set of lowering coilovers and the OEM rims painted in black :) Cool ride, ayte?? Anyhow, this car will be owned by one lucky owner very, very soon.

Friendly Crocs

Crocs and Jibbitz will never be separated. So do our Bruneians nowadays treasuring the brand like a storm. Many months ago it's hard to find even a shoe but nowadays you can certainly find it anywhere at big stores in the city... Love it or you hate the designs, people are going to use it anyway because of its uniqueness and more importantly, its comfortness!

Wishlists

I dreamed a lot this year. However lots of 'em were long shattered and remembering each of 'em again was like pain in a butt. Anyway, my new things to seek this year are like pictures below. I've grown patience not being influenced by Apple technologies. Not because I hate it, its more like I find it less important for me whilst people besides me having it idolized to the max..hehe. When my SE K850i is currently injured inside, I guess it's time for me to search for another new phone. I'm honestly tired of having Sony Ericsson nowadays because of its typical auto rebooting syndrome and like my K850i, the camera lens' cover is now another unsolved problem that I'm not eager to have it sent for another check out. Nokia is not really a favourite, not to mention the other brands around. So like, I'm going for iPhone instead since those I know using it find it beyond satisfactory, be it iPhone's 1st generation until its latest 3gs. I'll try the 3gs very soon and hope it suits me too :)

As for laptop, one of the biggest things that I always use 24/7 sorta thing, my previous Pavillion was already put to rest. Right now I'm using my wife's old lappy which still works fine despite of its truly uninspired laggingness and freezing windows here and there; yet this 12" Travelmate still struggle in its best to fill my lost. I think my newer laptop will be Dell Mini 10V. I have listed a few other brands of its kind yet this one truly excites me. Why not Apple iMac instead? Well, I'm not against it and its OS of course, my love is still with other brands (which means I'm still fond with Windows OS) though many will agree that Leopard OS is as powerful as the name itself. Oh well, we have the rights to choose and I choose not because of trends though. It is for our own satisfactions eventhough sometimes it would regret you..hehehehe!

Until the time is arrived, I'm now keep on wishing these things be mine very soon. Or maybe I'll keep on scouting for another brands like who knows, within months, many more improved gadgets will be on sale!!!

What Am I Missing Here?

Nothing actually. I nearly forgot I have a blog coz too much concentrate on playing games via Facebook..lol. What more? I totally forgot that I had 2 myspace accounts that I hadn't visited more than a year now. But my lame excuse will be: bad connection. That refers to how hard it is to buffer mp3 songs from myspace music accounts up till now. My connection lames all the way.

Anyway, happy Ramadhan to all Muslims. it is the 17th day already we're doing our fasting. Moreover, I'll be having my holiday like a week before Syawal's rising *happy*. So cheer up people, do your best before the victory comes.

I love blogging though, but it seems my mind is not cleared these past few months. Lots of bad things here and there. Broken wishes..crushing dreams. It's too good to be true they say... Oh well, life goes on and will always be going on until your last breath.

Iblis And Sakaratul Maut

Hadith Rasulullah SAW.. menerangkan:

Honey Vs Sugar

For those who love to add sugars in their foods or drinks, be advised to try honey instead of sugars. This is of course, for your own good, no one else :) I just tried pour two table spoon of honey inside my mixtures of nescafe and coffeemate. It feels lovely, u know..despite of my nescafe been darker than its usual look hehe. Try it, it would save your life at least.

Twilight

I started to listen to this song when my wife played Twilight Soundtrack CD during our normal car cruising a few weeks ago. This song to me is definitely different; unique, has this mysterious aura that it really gives me a chill sometimes. But when you watch this clip, it is something rather far away from Twilight's own theme..hehe. Anyways, thumbs up for being different. UK groups do kick ass for being unique xD

The Black Ghosts - Fullmoon

When the thorn bush turns white that’s when I’ll come home
I am going out to see what I can sow
And I don’t know where I’ll go
And I don’t know what I’ll see
But I’ll try not to bring it back home with me

Like the morning sun your eyes will follow me
As you watch me wander, curse the powers that be
Cause all I want is here and now but its already been and gone
Our intentions always last that bit too long

Far far away, no voices sounding, no one around me and
you’re still there
Far far away, no choices passing, no time confounds me and you’re still there

In the full moons light I listen to the stream
And in between the silence hear you calling me
But I don’t know where I am and I don’t trust who I’ve been
And If I come home how will I ever leave

A Blog Created By Martha

Who is she by the way? I dunno. A friend gave me her (if she is actually a she..keke) link and when I checked it out, it's a very bad ass totally in yer face kind of blogsite. I mean, this blog is created to personally rage those irresponsible individuals in every matter that seems odd. No censorship here, even the plate licenses of cars also left to be seen. It is the fact to let them know what they're doing are wrong or at least, people who might have seen 'em can watch their asses out too :) Here is the link:

Turbos

Whilst I was scouting for turbos like a couple of years ago on the net especially on worldwide infamous ordering webs, I found out that some turbo kits are cheaper than what I used to imagine. I mean, despite of the unknown brands, the infos of these turbo kits are promising with some car samples and dyno charts. You know, it's likely I would try one if I were to order it. See? How sometimes cheap prices do influence us to have one installed inside our engine bays haha.

(Sampe Pic Only)

In fact, a few friends also suggested me to order some replicas of TD06 or T70 due to the reasons that they are cheap and have aftermarket accessories for replacement. Today I was checking cheap turbo kits that I personally aimed if I have a turbo car to be rebuilt someday and in the same time, to make it clearer, I scouted for some forums or other sites that had these types of turbos to be reviewed. Well, it didnl't turn out like what I'd expected before; lots of car lovers (this is a forum mostly related to RB26DETT engine) loathed and disgusted with the outcomes of the turbos that I was targeting for an order...*ugh* Dude, that is not quite encouraging!!

(Sampe Pic Only)

Problems often related with cheap turbos are they are not properly balanced, the nuts and bolts are not properly placed unlike the branded ones. And the lifetime is maybe like about 10,000km and then you'll expect leaks and smokes and unfortunately, it could damage your engine that in the end, you have to rebuild it again (if you'd rebuilt it before though). And like, if these kinda turbos are repaired, it would only last fewer than 10,000km and it begins to leak again. So I think there's no point of buying cheap unknown turbos if it is meant to destroy your engines, right? Some say to maintain these kinda turbos for a longer usage, just minimize the boost so that the turbos won't pressure that much. Like, hmmm...what's the point of having upgraded turbos if they can only be used in low boost? =.='

Whatever the decisions you choose, choose it wisely depending on your budgets. Maybe we can go for cheaper turbos that have repair kits but if you have no problem with money, let's try turbos with big brands. And like a good friend of mine once said, go for journal bearing turbo instead of ball bearing cuz it will cost you like buying a new one when you're thinking about repairing a ball bearing turbo :)
"Ado-ado gala eh!!"

Typically A Must

A must for what? A must for me to get bored when uploading pics. It's due to the poor connection our internet speed has. My last uploaded pics were dated 15.2.09. So like, up till now I couldn't upload any because of the typical reason: error. Maybe they're doing their endless maintenance or maybe doing some upgradings, I don't really know actually. It still sucks to pay for nothing. Hope it would get better soon. And when it's better, I will uploading more drafted photos.

Not So Heavenly Looked!!!

When my wife arrived home after fetching our son from school, she saw a green snake on the top of my car. Didn't know the whole scenario though cuz I was at work during that time. My wife managed to snap a few photos of it. I think this was due to the heavy rain you could probably see unexpected animals out of your garages or doors, ugh...that's a bit creepy.

Sarah Jezebel Deva

To eerie music fans, that name above is synonym to Cradle Of Filth's female vocal/backing vocal that had worked with the band since their first album. With her English accent and some mellow sweet vampyric voices, some might fell in love with her. Anyways, for many years doing tours with the Cradles, it's time for her to create her own destiny with Angtoria as she fronted the band as one of the most outrageous and respected female rock vocalists ever around this dirty globe!!

I Hate

Haven't been blogging for a while now. My laptop is currently having a graphic card problem. Moreover, I'm a bit reluctant to send it for a repair since lots of top secret documents inside it. Not that I don't trust any PC shops for my graphic card replacement. It's just when it comes to secret things especially documents I did for my work and are rather confidential to outsider eyes, I tent not to jeopardize it. So it remains "dead" for a while until I have time to take it and think of how to make my lappy unleashes again.

Speaking of times, yet we're still busy at home. No maid to clean our household and stuffs. I consider myself a multi-maid but not that 100% multi dou cuz there's my wife doing her jobs too. I'm still pissed off of our maid; how the problems occurred just becoz she went back to her country and didn't want to return back not until her father's health is okay. I'm still wondering why she told us that late, like it was like nearly a month of her stay in her country then she told us that she has to take care of her dad. Why not she just told it earlier so it's easier for us to find her replacement and not have to take the risk of being killer busy with our jobs, kids and chores especially when my son is schooling again and my wife with her afternoon course until the end of this January. *pfft*

I remembered seeing my son letting her go on the day she left us with the travel agency's car. I watched my son's cool face, as he understood the maid had to leave him (again) in his cool face; hoping a month after that she would return back like the time she went home after her 2 year's contract expired (twice within 4 years). Being together with us for more than 4 years, since my son's birth, was a long journey. I cannot resist to stop my son (especially my daughter) to bond with the maid because she was like "in the family" too and she was the one of was taking care of 'em when we're not at home. When we told him that the maid is no longer with us, he was so damn mad - crazy mad, and demanding our maid's return as if we're the one that not wanting her to come back to Brunei. That's how bonded and sincere my son was with our maid.

I hope with all the tasks we're doing now are worth it if she told us the truth. Otherwise, screw her if she lied to us. She just screwed my holidays and my joys of December, let alone my wife's.

Anyway, right now I can only check my facebook and surfing with my wife's lappy. Although I know it would bore her that have to share a lappy, I still have a desktop to surf with. Just it's upstairs since we're currently sleeping and doing our home activities downstairs. Oh well, I don't expect people to care much about how sux it is when I'm in trouble (i.e no laptop) coz sometimes I know I'm not that really important in people's life, rather than a parasite to their eyes. I don't give a damn either. My time is now, yours are next! So expect none from a parasite and go for the diamonds instead!!

When everything is done, I wanted to chill alone, concentrating with my car, doing my music and entertain myself with pride..hehe who else dude to understand me more than myself. But having a knocking snare is always a dream nowadays and I'm looking forward to that moment later on. So all apologies to those who are currently connected to things I'm doing but couldn't complete the missions together. Soon my friends, very soon.

Aslan (...coz diamonds are forever :p)

December 2008

The end of December would probably be the busiest month in my life. Despite of being without maid up til now, it didn't stop us from having family fun with my in laws and of course nephews and nieces. Stayed at Centerpoint Hotel for 2 nights and 3 days, having ourselves busy buying stuffs and gadgets at The Mall's expo and doing our outside dinners with the rest of my in laws were some good memories though we didn't enjoy ourselves to overseas like some of other people. We would but some of us were working during school holidays.

Well, I was on my shift duties during my stay in my hotel room. Sometimes, it wasn't as fun as others who had 100% feels of holidays without even thinking of getting up early and have to be punctual on things (work). So the rest of my after shifts were joining others for shopping and dining. I didn't have the proper rest I need. Hence, when we're home again, everything was like a mess. You know, still tired and eventually had to go for work the day after that.... Until now the weariness is still here.

My kids were happy although they did miss their so called auntie (our maid) which will never come back due to her personal reason of taking care of her sick father (hope that's true, otherwise screw her badly!!). Of course it was payday and extra money from bonus, enjoy it a lot. Stuffs for us and for kids. And of course, the "top up" thing hope to go fine as plan :)

Aside from personal shopping spree, did have the chance to do some upgrades on my car. Thanx to my bro for the helping hand bringing the car to the workshop and did what had to be done. Otherwise, I would miss the end of year offers for mod stuffs coz if everything had to be done by myself, it would take ages to happen..haha.

Now it is a new year. Some finds it as a time for a new resolution, a new beginning, a new task. As for me, I just want to improve my life one step further. To be the best father and husband to my family and to understand each and everyone of 'em more and more. And ummm, of course, to facebook real bad again..hahaha. Whatever it is, life goes on...just go with the flow.

Aslan (chill!!!)

Touchscreen Crazees

iPhone 3G is one of the coolest and the most sought handphone currently. Although it has a typical weakness like drained battery life, people still consider it as a classy of any other mobile brands that won't be missed. It lacks of laggingness especially when you take photoshots and eventhough it's still a 2 megapixel based phone, I salute the quality of its pictures. Worth a try for those who wanted to have a second or third set of their phone collections. Need to download some applications though to make it fully enjoyable. Try and feel its luxury.

I am a Sony Ericsson fan. The Xperia which was first announced in early 2008 (if I'm not mistaken) is the most long awaited mobile this year. Being the first SE product to have Microsoft OS, it would be a teaser for me of how this phone will surprise SE lovers. When this phone landed in my grip, I could feel the heaviness and actually what dissapoints me up till now is that the less sensitivity of the touchscreen. You have to jolt the stylus a bit harder to the screen so it can respond nicely. Or maybe because it's a default setting that you have to adjust the sensitivity of the touchscreen? I don't know. What I know is that the speaker sounds pretty clear. Hmmm, worth a buy? I still prefer its symbian model though; not as what I expected months ago and I can still admire my K850 for the time being, hehe.

That's how it is these days. Been so damn busy with life and the without maid thing really a big pain in da butt at the moment. Some activities were made; with families and my car. Anyway I'll be updating some pics later on. Totally not have the time to edit pics and uploading it. And I'm still attached with Facebook whilst my other tabs are concentrating with eBaying stuffs and Brudirect Classified Ads..haha.

Payday Payback

Wow, pretty busy nowadays. Maidless, working, houseworks, a little bit of car trimming (less than what I've expected due to the maidless thing), 40% tired than before; but we are actually happy with what we're achieving nowadays. Life is more meaningful when you do hard works on your own; keeping your family under one roof with patience and integrity.

Anyway, today is a big December Rain for Bruneian people. Payday and bonus in one go like last year. My wife and I had to go to the ATM Machines after 8.30pm to avoid queuing that we hate the most...huhu. Yea, no queues, everything went smooth. But couldn't go for shopping of course cuz lots of us are more likely to stay more hours at supermarkets rather than at home. It's normal, so we'll pass this normal issue by staying at home and enjoy our busy life here before we go shopping ourselves a few days from now.

Oh well, tomorrow we'll be staying in Centerpoint though. The most strategic place besides Rizqun. Because of the maidless thing and I'm now working, we do not have the possiblity of staying far from Brunei :( Someday maybe. Will post more later on, have a pleasant night though!

Well after more than 3 months not singning in my FB, I'm quite attached to its smooth and fast load nowadays, not like months before. I'm not that keened on playing the games at the moment. Enough of checking pics and uploading it; doing walls to walls and becoming a fan of this and that. Not forgetting, superpokin' :)

The connection is a bit okay. I can now downloading mp3s and vids. Hopefully it stays like that. Now it worth the penny. Happy facebooking everyone..

Christina Aguilera

Genie 2.0

I feel like I've been locked up tight
A century of lonely nights
Waitin', waitin' for someone
You're licking your lips
And blowin' kisses my way
That don't mean I'm gonna give it away
Baby.. oh baby..

[Chorus]
If you wanna be with me
Baby there's a price to pay
I'm a genie in a bottle
You gotta rub me the right way

The music's playin'
And the lights down low
One more dance
And then we're good to go
Just waitin'.. waitin' for someone

My hormones are racin' at the speed of light
But that don't mean it's gotta be tonight
Baby.. ooh baby..

If you wanna be with me
Baby there's a price to pay
I'm a genie in a bottle
You gotta rub me the right way

If you wanna be with me
I can make your wish come true
Gotta make a big impression
Gotta like what you do (3x)

I'm a genie in a bottle, baby.. (2x)

Come on, come on and let me out (4x)

If you wanna be with me
Baby there's a price to pay
I'm a genie in a bottle
You gotta rub me the right way

If you wanna be with me
I can make your wish come true
Gotta make a big impression
Gotta like what you do

I'm a genie in a bottle, baby.. (2x)

Come on, come on and let me out (my heart is sayin') (6x)

The Suck Becomes Sucker (Whatever!!!)

I don't know, lately the connection becomes so hideously irritating. I'd drafted and delayed publishing my posts for a few times now. It's because the connection has problem uploading the pictures. I love uploading pictures for each of my blog title.

Currently the connection goes beyond my patience. I'm now using my wife's B-Mobile simcard
(minjam ah, hehehe) and online via my handphone because I'm too desperate to upload pics and don't want my posts to be delayed. Delaying everything sucks me a lot!!

Hopefully the internet will go smooth soon...it is a real waste of money paying something that you cannot use even at its minimum!

Started as a homebase shop with DIY advertisements via their Shop@Sarah's blogsite for few months back, now Kamal and Sufinah (we call 'em Abg Kamal + Kaka Sufi) managed a one step of successness with the launch of Shop @ Lisa Sarah's retail outlet at Q-Lap Mall's 1st floor. LCD Phenomena

Out of my expectation, my K850 is now at Dee Jay's mobile service, replacing its LCD screen in which my phone has backlight problem. I thought by master resetting the software everything would be okay. My prediction wasn't that relevant I think, huhu. This is the 2nd Sony Ericsson mobile that I use having backlight problem actually, hmmm I wonder why. $100 for replacement *pfffft*

One thing I learn about this, don't ever save the contact numbers without copying all inside your simcard. Because when your mobiles having this kind of problem that requires a master reset of things that would lead to resetting your mobile, everything will be gone for good! I've confronted this 3 times now, a bit tired of saving numbers. Now I learn my mistake, hehe.

Odyssey 2009 Revealed

The face of a new Honda Odyssey. It’s now going a bit far from the last two editions with its new chassis. While still retaining the front headlight (not far of the change) the old Odyssey style, the backlight is completely a new design. Interior is also the same, comprising new Civic/Stream blends with shift pedals are now introduced. Horsepower is also upgraded, so does the Absolute Version. More torque could be felt and I bet this time Odyssey will do 0-100km below 10 seconds (I hope!).

I don’t know if you guys might love this new Odyssey, but I still prefer the old 2003-2004 RB1 model, the first Odyssey with I-VTEC engine to be exact.

Aslan (too bad Honda won't be with F1 by next year)

Yeap, here you are, the JDM 2009 Odyssey

BOV Song

I was scouting for Greddy Type R blow off valve's video on Youtube, just wanted to know how it actually sounds when it's installed in low and high boost in certain car models. Of course, Greddy has its new Type RS too, so I checked the video as it sounds a bit similar to Type R. Type S is much whistling, so that's off topic. Then I saw this video, it's a remix song from Dixie called "Tricky Muzza's" which has blow off sounds in it, lol. Quite funny, but the song is sometimes nice and a bit high to me :p

Meanwhile, I read lots of comments that truly hate the cars featured in this video. You know, JDM cars doing those bling-bling things; overatted lookin' mods, stupid plate license names...etc. Let alone been called as ricers. The cars are hailing from Australia. The Aussies love to use chrome wheels, matching it with cars made in Japan like Subaru, Nissan, Mitsu..etc. It's quite unique to me looking at their cars, with the mods like their brutal paintjobs, leather interiors, ICEs, air suspensions...

When the motive of these doings are for car shows (actually to me it is the reason why they do all these so called rice mods), I don't think it's false. If you wanna be unique or wanna be a trendsetter, this is one of the healthy ways. But if it is for my taste, I rather choose 100% JDM lookin' car rather than JDM-turned-nigger-rides, be it in a showcar or performance-wise. Bronze/gunmetal/black wheels always suit me most than chrome nowadays :)

Anyway, enjoy the vid peepz!!
