Last time I bought a Playstation brand was in 2003 when PS2 was a big hit. By the time PS3 hit Brunei few years ago with its fat version, got to hold the desire to buy one due to its overated price tag. Last 2 years ago I think, the slim version was unleashed with its 120gb hard disk in which the price was a bit cheaper than the fat one. Nevertheless the slimmer it is, the chance of being overheating is also higher. Anyway, the slim version is now up to 320gb and if you know where to find, variety of shops sell it with a very good reliable price. I finally got my own PS3 not because the price is okay. In fact, Gran Turismo 5 launches its groundbreaking simulation game last 25/11/2010 here...now that's the reason why I MUST have this console and it's about time already..heh heh. GT5 is currently out of stock so have to wait next week for its collector's edition, should be fun and I just can't wait for it!

Pocket Frogs is currently the hottest game around. Feed and nurture the frogs, breed it, buy some decorations and change the backgrounds; building your own habitats of interesting various colors of the frogs...

Angry Birds is another fun game which I guess one of the most downloaded games in Apps Store, well at least for its genre though..hehe. A bit annoying if you couldn't win the game but the sense of excitement is always there.

A friend introduced to me this game. Archmage Defense is a bit horrific game that you're the devils and you have to kill those good soldiers to defend your skeleton castle and your territory. Simple game but interestingly addictive...

Need For Speed: Shift may not as quality as those in PS3 or Xbox, yet the addiction to race in this hardcore game is still there absorbing inside your body whilst controlling the steering via accelerometer from the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad itself. Good drift actions but need to vary the wheel/bodykit selections though...

Night Of Champions

WWE's Night Of Champions PPV (which means, all champion belts will be on the line) was held in Chicago last September 19, 2010. The results were quite groundbreaking with unexpected wins on some of the competitors and the ones entitled as the underdogs. Anyway, the results are below each pic :)

Intercontinental Champion:
Dolph Ziggler still retains his belt by beating Kofi Kingston with the dirty tricks aided by his girlfriend, Vickie Guerrero.

No Title Match:
This no title match won by Big Show with his simple yet huge punch in the face to his opponent, CM Punk. Good effort from CM Punk though with his professional skill, he did make the match quite longer than usual.

United States Champion:
To me, Daniel Bryan ought to win this title over The Miz since he is one of the best newcomers in WWE with his amazing speedy performance and master in submission techniques. Eventhough The Miz was helped by his NXT's student, Alex Riley, it didn't stop Daniel to rise as the new United States Champion with his killer finishing, Crippler Crossface (made famous by the late Christ Benoit) that The Miz tapped helplessly. Awesome goes to Daniel Bryan, really!

WWE Tag Team Champion:
This Tag Team Turmoil Match featured 5 tag team wrestlers. The WWE Tag Team Champion was originally held by The Hart Dynasty not until they lose the match to The Usos, followed by the Usos were beaten by Mark Henry and Evan Bourne (previously The Usos had won the match against Santino Marella and Vladimir Koslov) and finally, Mark Henry and Evan Bourne had lost the match against Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre and eventually, crowned 'em as the new WWE Tag Team Champion. Not really interested with this match though.

Unified Divas Champion:
This was the match that combined Women Champion and Divas Champion belts into one Unified Divas Champion title. Melina, previously the Divas Champion had to say her belt goodbye after losing it to Michelle McCool (Women Champion) with the help from her good buddy Layla. I'm bored with this match too..quite cheesy. This Lumberjill Match wasn't at its best though. Anyway, congrats to Michelle McCool for being the first Unified Divas Champion, and of course, this will make her more selfish and arrogant than before..hehe.

World Heavyweight Champion:
I thought The Undertaker would win this match against the current Heavyweight Champion, Kane. But my prediction was deadly wrong; he couldn't bring his phenom sky high as he was beaten by his own "brother" with his own Tombstone Piledriver finishing. I see The Undertaker as an old impotent being; a bit out of date and guess he should stop wrestle and take his penchant early before he brings disgrace to himself by losing and being bullied by the younger generations someday. Otherwise, he is truly a Phenom, the real legend that one might lives on since his arrival in WWE (then WWF) back in 1991. The match will continue on the latter PPV. Hope The Undertaker wins then.

WWE Champion:
This is my favourite match honestly. The Six pack Elimination Challenge Match resulted Randy Orton as the new WWE Champion as he defeated Sheamus with his venomous RKO (Randy's Knock Out) and of course, ending Sheamus' reign as the WWE Champion. Besides Sheamus, this Six pack Elimination Challenge includes John Cena, Wade Barrett, Edge and Chris Jericho. Big names right? Kudos to John Cena for helping Randy Orton clearing those parasites from The Nexus who tried to interfere the match. They just suck and amateur noobs.

Anyway, another PPV will come soon. Hell In The Cell will be on air this 3.10.10. Be prepare... :)

Afterlife...

Aiman with cuzzies before watching RE

Resident Evil film started way back in 2002 based on Capcom's infamous horror video game with the same title. RE: Afterlife is the fourth movie that features my favorite heroin, Milla Jovovich portrays the leading character namely Alice. Afterlife, however, is not as thrilled as the previous RE: Extinction since the talkings are more obvious than actions. But when it comes to action scenes, it never dissapoints me a bit. All you can see is the girl power that Alice has to put the zombies and bad guys into shred! Well, not to forget the helpers at her back though. Ali Larter, plays as Claire Redfield, is also one of the shining characters here due to her style, her kick-ass hardcore action moves and the charisma that I guess she is best tagging along with Alice in fighting scenes. The effects are more better than before, suit the background theme music itself. RE: Afterlife, all in all, stays in its league. Resident Evil, like its first showcase, never bores me although some may rate it as boring. I am still looking forward for its sequel soon :))

Raya Moments

You see, the most happiest persons during Eid Mubarak season are the kids. The thought of cruising along with cousins, having fun playing fireworks together, going for open-house with the rest of the uncles/aunties, the fun of wearing cara melayu and baju kurung raya...all those moments did bring extra happiness to them, while not thinking of school that will be opened very soon, hehe. Us, the parents, are not really keened that much of raya-ing nowadays. However, when our kids are happy, the momentum is also shared. For me, the festive season is now over eventhough Syawal goes for a month. The back-to-work-scenario kills my desire to bring the kids for another ride of raya. 4 days are more than enough I guess. Until next year, Insya Allah, enjoy your Aidilfitri. Drive safe peeps :)

I'm quite impressed to see this video where a 500+ hp stage 1 modified R35 can easily overwhelming the monstrous 700+ hp Switzer P800-equipped R35. Quarter mile wise, P800 is useless due to its turbo lag as you can see the white GT-R's launching in a very quick manner. Hmmm, I think I prefer the stage 1 GT-R in terms of its speed but P800 is totally a vengeance at the top end... Either way, I love this video!!!

Nexus, a group of seven ex WWE NXT competitors are now reigning supreme in WWE RAW division. Any wrestlers from the locker room who try to against 'em will be severely punish. Be it the new wrestlers, legends, all will be treated of the same name: PAIN and SUFFERING. To be honest, these seven newbies are well played when they're together but when I doubt they would survive that much when they're put to test one by one. Except for their leader, Wade Barett perhaps (whom to be the winner of WWE NXT season 1).

This Sunday, the real dominance of these seven wolf packs will be put to test as at Summer Slam, they will be against seven of WWE locker room wrestlers (under the name Team WWE). Names like John Cena, John Morrison, Edge, Chris Jericho, R-Truth, The Great Khali and WWE's Hall Of Famer, Bret Hart are the selected ones to end their reign. I don't know how well Team WWE going to unite since currently some of 'em are enemies to each other.

Personally, I admit Nexus are quite good in group, how they manage to minimize even the beast in man into a lame piece of crap..hehehe. But yet the likes of Chris Jericho and John Cena for example. they are more experience in the ring. Moreover, the strength of each person in Team WWE has been tested for many times during their earlier fights in any single match WWE have created. But Nexus ain't no brainless noobs, they know how to become culprits and playing dirty is one of the things they do on that very ring. So I think, Summer Slam will answer this...can't wait!!!

The Airbender

Got the chance to watch the premier today. Surprisingly it was not that crowded that I'd to book the tickets last night in fear of not having a good seat or maybe, sold out...! I am yet still to watch the animation though to know more about the characters. Yet from the storylines, I am actually happy with the way the movie goes. It's not simply cheap overrated movie that people might think of lately due to the critics from the reviewers.

The waiting is coming to the end...

Maybe the vibes are not like when I watched Lord Of The Rings, Harry Potter..etc of the nearly same genres, nevertheless, the epic is there. The storylines are narrated a bit rush that it makes everything summarized in which I think movie like this should last for more than 2 hours rather than 1hr 30-40 mins. In fact, this is entitled as Episode 1: Water. Which means there would be one or two more movies on the way sooner or later, representing Earth and Fire.

The idea of putting characters that are not Chinese/Japanese/Korean..etc looks are also out of the real characters from the cartoon itself. I can see like 80% of the characters are Indians. Is it because the director himself is an Indian that the racism seems to be there? Good thing that Aang's character is 90% matching the cartoon character itself :) Anyway this ain't no bad movie of course. The effects are beautifully done and the musical scores are as majestic as I would expect. Although the fun factor is minimal, I can still say that the monotone percentage is also minimal too. I really love to see the next chapter of this movie if there is any...

Read about this car in some car magazines and I am amazed with the front spoiler set up on the end of its bonnet too that actually led me to wonder of how good this car is. Well, this World Racing Scion tC is damn good dude. This is one of the fastest front wheel drive (FWD) cars around (or maybe the fastest?) breaking new lap records at some major racing circuits. With its crazy 700hp engine, it sure is one serious car that may shred the Time Attack at its best!

Already watched. Love the story, summarized prologue and straight to the point. But rich with informative storylines that you can understand the scenes easily. Magic meets physics resulting a hilarious power! Strong casts like Nicholas Cage and Monica Belucci. I rate this movie A+ :D

Sound Quality Wise

Ok, here I have tested 3 kind of earbuds from different brands (which are not coming from big names unfortunately). My wife owns all though, I've the feeling to check how good these earbuds are despite of its cheap price. All I can say is that all are worthwhile buying even though the quality is not at its best. Lets see the summary of each bud eh~

Good looking low profile ear bud. This one produces more solid bass with soft vibrant however the sound is less effective in mid and high frequencies. Still listenable, I've enjoyed the hip hop/RnB music with its companion :)

Rugged lookin' skull printed ear bud. Quite fancy and eye catchy right? The bass is less here, a bit cracking the both speakers but it is rich in midrange sound of music, in which it's suitable for Jazzy/Indie/Soft Rock more than the likes of RnB, Rap and genres with heavy bass beats.

The Minnie Mouse design. Lack of low frequency but more into high decibel sound. I can say it wins on clear sound quality and in fact it is good for Rock and extreme music too. Not forgetting it worth a try to watch videos with it :)

Yet this is suitable for my Windows Vista OS. So like if I wanna upgrade my windows to Windows 7 someday, all I have to do is to update the antivirus to version 2010. As simple as that ^^

Congratulations to Spain for making their own history this year not only going to the final and also holding the trophy for the first time ever in World Cup history. The extra time was a brilliant chance for Spain not only Dutch's John Heitinga was sent off in the 109th minute, it was the time to strike and ended the game. Fabregas' pass to Iniesta was the fact the history of Spain football reign have just begun! Well, many books were also made during the match. I think referee Howard Webb did give the most tickets in this WC 2010 too, haha.

And again, in the final, Spain have proven to be the best and the world cup champion in 2010. See you again in WC 2014, Brazil xD

Apple recently have releasing a new operating system which is called version 4.0, the same firmware that iPhone4 is using right now. This OS is now can be downloaded not only as an upgrade software for iPhone, but also for iPod Touch. Got the firmware installed in my 3GS a few days ago and honestly speaking, its kinda fun and more organized than before especially the folder application. First of all, you have to update your iTunes to version 9.2, then you can download the iOS4 via iTunes, where you can click the update button. Anyway, my connection is not that at its best yet. I'd downloaded the iOS4 for three times and the result was disconnected. Then some people suggested to me that I should go for other webs that provided the application download's links, so I'd chosen this link for iPhone 3GS and this link for iPhone 3G. After you've finished download it, you can install it manually by referring to this link. Enjoy everyone...this has to be the best OS yet Apple have created so far xD

My view: quite an interesting expo. Just when the crowds are like hundreds inside this big camp, you would experience spontaneous dizziness...like I did this afternoon..haha. Anyway, the products on sale are so various; clothes, foods, bracelets, sunglasses..etc. Worth checking it out. Another successful expo waiting for ya until this 4th of July ^^b

Yeah, count no more.. The kick off has just begun!! Currently, the 2010 World Cup Kick Off Concert is live on television and I am so blessed to have the opportunity watching it live on air like for many years I didn't have the chance of doing so. The prologue was just splendid with The Black Eyed Peas (as a well known global group) heated the stage with their famous songs, Amadou & Miriam, Shakira, Alicia Keys and some other native African singers that I don't recognize (except for John Legend of course) playing their vast worldbeats music. The crowds are ultimately marvelous. I do wish I am there in the arena though..hehe. Anyway, those of you who are watching it live right now, enjoy the moment okay. 1 Goal, Education For ALL!!

IHP Expo 2010

This is the 5th International Halal Products Expo been held and Brunei is once again the country responsible to organize this event. The expo was began on 3rd June until 6th of June 2010 and from the reviews I received, it was outstanding. Locals and foreigners had spent their time checking the stalls not only managed by the locals themselves, some other countries were also participated like Malaysia, Thailand...to name a few. Not only foods, you'll be served with electronic products, kitchen accessories, attires and other more. I think this year's expo was a bit groundbreaking than last year and every moment there was memorable... Thumbs up!!

Today is the last day of school in Brunei and I'm welcoming the 2nd term school holiday with happiness..hehe. Anyway today Aiman was eager to go to school cuz he loved it when there were partying + makan-makan stuffs although yesterday I asked him and Afrina to rest at home. Guess that it was worth it for him since if he didn't go to school, he would not have the chance to join the coloring contest for his class and would not have the chance to grab the first spot, ayte? I've got this icy product tried on my car's bonnet today. It's from Turtle Wax and this is one of its ICE collections which to me its upgraded and more improved version from their previous products. The liquid polish is a simple thing to apply on your car. Just put a few drops on the sponge provided, rub it gently on your car; leave it for like 3-5 minutes and then finished it off with the microfiber towel which is also given free in the box :)

You wouldn't see the real effect on the picture above, but just look how clear the clouds reflected from the bonnet of the car, despite the bonnet is already swirled and scratched. Well, to achieve a better result, all you need is the instant wax, instant shine and of course, detailer. Look for your trusted products. Mine will always be Turtle Wax ;D

Wilwood might not be as famous as Brembo or AP Racing Disc Brake Kits but its popularity amongst car enthusiasts is not that new either. I've found a local Mini Cooper S using this brand with its 4 Pot Caliper application. Quite expensive this one and its much bigger than its OEM disc brake. I love the black character of it..thumbs up!

While Akademi Fantasia 8 is airing on Astro with improving stage and background yet it doesn't appeal me not like the 1st three seasons years ago, I'm attached with American Idol's simplicity yet electrifying crowds and commentators. Of course, quality freshers that need to be watched. Bias am I comparing these 2 programmes? Well, the quality of each person is not to be judged whether you are Asian people, White people, Black people..etc. It's the talent that each of this person has undergone and of course their attitude of how to motivate themselves to catch the attention of the viewers. Siobhan Magnus does catch my attention because she is unique, talented and has the incredible power in her voice. Watch out when she opens her mouth wide..all you can hear to is the high pitched voice that you wouldn't expect come from her. What's brilliant about her is that she knows what song to be selected, she denies hype when duplicating the song; she sings in her own way and not letting the original singers overshadowing her style. That is not boring at all when she tries to bring something uncommon that Simon would say weird but to me, that's a genuine pleasure of a new star. Hope she can cope for the next round. Well, it doesn't bother me if she wouldn't go to final though coz a quality newcomer like her will always have the space in this music business later :)

Yes, this is the car that also has converted his car's side mount intercooler to a more beautiful yet aggressive front mount set up. You've seen the teaser right? Enjoy the pics though a bit blurry..I should use an SLR in the first place anyway!!

HDI Boost Meter. The analogue is for kpa reading whilst the digital

records boost in psi. Very nice, probably the one and only here in Brunei

Another Extra Boost

Another friend of mine is currently installing a front mount intercooler replacing his dying side mount intercooler. With this bigger size intercooler, I'm sure more boost will be extracted from this car. The piping is mostly 2.5" in size and what is nice about it, the owner himself assists to where the piping should go. Meaning, it is a custom made piping kit with less bending to prevent from turbo lag that often occurs if you're about to do a FMIC application. More pics to come soon, and of course...two more interesting gadgets to be installed ;D

More Torque

Hello peeps, had been so busy with my day..not that I don't wanna blog though. Anyway got the time to take the pic of my friend's car. Nothing much, he's so excited he got his car a front mounted intercooler already, hehe. The function of a front mount intercooler (FMIC) is that although you'll be receiving a lag response at low RPM but it sure gives you a thumb up when your RPM reaches 4000 above. FMIC is meant for a top end response and of course, plenty of boost too. With his above 300hp STi, there will be a different as when he was using his OEM STi top mount intercooler, the car showed its power by 3500 RPM but didn't sure if the boost was in a pretty good shape or not after that. Where else when he is using the current GReddy FMIC, the car response at a delayed 3800 RPM but after that...yes, the beast does awake :) That's a good sign for those who like performance car and like to tweak their cars a bit higher in torque and horsepower than their usual ones. Love to take the pics of the engine bay later on...stay tune :)
