Thursday's Tale
Today is the last day of school in Brunei and I'm welcoming the 2nd term school holiday with happiness..hehe. Anyway today Aiman was eager to go to school cuz he loved it when there were partying + makan-makan stuffs although yesterday I asked him and Afrina to rest at home. Guess that it was worth it for him since if he didn't go to school, he would not have the chance to join the coloring contest for his class and would not have the chance to grab the first spot, ayte? Well congrats to you son, may it glorify you to be the best :)
AND OF COURSE, HAPPY HOLIDAY BRUNEIAN STUDENTS..YAY~

Nusa Jaya Tutong Convocation 2009
Held at Dewan Seri Kenangan Tutong around 2.30pm, the convocation was a success with beautiful props and many happy faces from the candidates and participants. The parents were also very supportive, not just sat on the chair but stand in front of the stage or somewhere near to it; taking photos and videos of their kids in which it did give their children the spirits to become more productive and realistic when they performed on stage. Smiling faces from teachers, believing all their hard works to train these pupils how to dance, sing and speak on this very stage were worth it. I can say this year's convocation was far more better than last year. Thank you Nusa Jaya for giving us parents the best outcome and also to our children :D

Menuju Puncak ...
Today Nusa Jaya School Tutong (both Keriam and Penanjong) rehearsed for KG3's Graduation
Ceremony which will be held this 20.11.2009. Got the opportunity to witness the fun preparations for the upcoming Friday main event though and really proud to see Aiman wearing his graduation gown along with his other friends. But not until the 20th of November, it will be grand for us parents...until then xD

A While Ago...
Today held an educational awards function at Nusa Jaya Keriam. All classes were allowed to bring foods from home. Aiman wasn't that keened on participating the moment but after persuading him, at last he joined the function too. Well, educational awards were for the primaries. The kindergardens were more into eat-and-lets-have-a-party sort of thing, hehe. Nice to see 'em happily eating and swapping foods.

Quite a grumpy face. Maybe he was a bit sad leaving the class, friends and his teachers

Well, everything went fine until I asked him to ride the bumper car. He was happy driving it and accelerated the pedal himself. What pissed him off was when the car bumped to another car. He was panicked and didn't want to drive it no more. He still does not understand that it's okay to bump with each other when it comes to playing the bumper cars. Anyway, next time around. Maybe with his cousin Muqri, it would be great to see 'em both hit the pedals and drive themselves off like adults driving real cars with auto transmissions!

Back To Square One
Certainly the joy is over. It's not like an end of the world over kinda thing, it's just the fun is less because everyone is start to go for daily work today. That goes for school too; school is opened today. Saw secondary students waiting for buses as early as 6.15am today on my way back home from midnight shift. Not a good starter for everybody in Brunei I guess, since the mood of Hari Raya is still there but because of work and school stuffs, the fun is again, less. Eventually, everyone will looking forward for another weekend for another Hari Raya day, since Syawal is for a month. Open Houses are also done within this time too cuz I don't think a 7-days-Hari-Raya phenomena is valid anymore nowadays. The real phenomena will occur at least a month so in fact, we do feel the Hari Raya joyness for a month to compare it with like 10 years ago.
Heck, my son is in his bored-face today, lazy to get his early bath and due to some reasons, I let my son stay at home today. I know most of the people be it those who are working, teaching or studying would say yes if giving a chance of not to do those things today, hehe. Let Tuesday be the Monday then (tapi jangan amalkan selalu, hehe).
