The Game
Last time I bought a Playstation brand was in 2003 when PS2 was a big hit. By the time PS3 hit Brunei few years ago with its fat version, got to hold the desire to buy one due to its overated price tag. Last 2 years ago I think, the slim version was unleashed with its 120gb hard disk in which the price was a bit cheaper than the fat one. Nevertheless the slimmer it is, the chance of being overheating is also higher. Anyway, the slim version is now up to 320gb and if you know where to find, variety of shops sell it with a very good reliable price. I finally got my own PS3 not because the price is okay. In fact, Gran Turismo 5 launches its groundbreaking simulation game last 25/11/2010 here...now that's the reason why I MUST have this console and it's about time already..heh heh. GT5 is currently out of stock so have to wait next week for its collector's edition, should be fun and I just can't wait for it!

Move Your Body~
Every gamer knows that Nintendo Wii is breaking the boundary in gaming arena because of their unique style of not-relying-on-button gaming experience. However, things might innovated other console makers to do their versions of swings rather than pushing the buttons; the typical joystick style. Introducing the Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect and Playstation 3 Move!
This is the Kinect
By using the Kinect Sensor, there is NO need of other controllers to play the games..that is fun dude! It reacts on your movement, respond to your voice and you'll be having a very lovely multiplayer experience with it. Gosh I wanna try it~
Thumbs up for the revolutionary release!
The unique Move Motion Controller
It reminds me of Wii's Nunchuk but I guess the vibe would not be the sameThe basic accessories. But you can find other accessories related to Move and currently more games are made just for it. This will be another new experience for PS3 users worldwide to get involved by having the already existed games to be updated and downloaded so that it can be played with the Move accessories (maybe a few of the games only though).
In fact, we are the controllers...so enjoy your consoles guys :D

Pocket Games
To iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad users, you might enjoy exploring games at Apps Store. From what I know, the games below are some of the most downloaded and played at the moment. I think all are fun because I play these games a lot too :)
Pocket Frogs is currently the hottest game around. Feed and nurture the frogs, breed it, buy some decorations and change the backgrounds; building your own habitats of interesting various colors of the frogs...
Angry Birds is another fun game which I guess one of the most downloaded games in Apps Store, well at least for its genre though..hehe. A bit annoying if you couldn't win the game but the sense of excitement is always there.
Plants Vs Zombies, a real addiction. Build your own strategies of how to avoid the packs of zombies (with different skills) from entering your house and eat your brains!!A friend introduced to me this game. Archmage Defense is a bit horrific game that you're the devils and you have to kill those good soldiers to defend your skeleton castle and your territory. Simple game but interestingly addictive...

Need For Speed: Shift may not as quality as those in PS3 or Xbox, yet the addiction to race in this hardcore game is still there absorbing inside your body whilst controlling the steering via accelerometer from the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad itself. Good drift actions but need to vary the wheel/bodykit selections though...

PSP Reloaded
Hoho...it's been a while since my son's PSP sleep to extinction. Well, not really that unplayable though; it's just I accidentally upgraded its Official Firmware (OFW) from the modified version 3.72 m33 to OFW 6.10 which is used by PSP Go right now. In which, it has got any modified or custom firmware as yet or anything related to playing downloaded games that you got from your friends or the friendly websites. Unless you buy it from Sony official PSP sites, then you can play it.
Custom firmware really worth it ^^b Hmmm, more than a month without PSP really made my son so unhappy eventhough there are computer games , iPhone games and game consoles at home. It still don't match how portable PSP is to him..lol. Anyway I had scouted 2 people who do modifying/upgrading things for PSP but to my sorrow, they couldn't downgrade the OFW to the current modified Custom Firmware (CFW) 5.50 Gen A to D. I was thinking of buying a new one to replace the already-dead PSP but anyway, I scouted for more people who really know how to downgrade it with their tools. I know how to downgrade, but I don't have enough tools to do it and eventually, it requires extra money to do so.
Yeah!!! At last, GI Joe on PSP
Thank God I met this young genius from his advertisement on the internet that really brightened my day when he said: it's a piece of cake to downgrade your PSP firmware!!! Wow, he really knows what he is doing dude..hahaha!!
Gran Turismo... this is for me, not my son!!!
Now the PSP got a stable firmware and with this upgraded 5.50 I can easily play more advanced games like Fifa 10, Gran Turismo or GI Joe (in which I think these games cannot be played if your OFW is below 5.00).... Phewww!!

Racing Kings
While people put their thumbs up for Need For Speed: Shift and started to judging it with Gran Turismo, GT5 stands alone and I prefer to call it: superior. Gran Turismo since its first release is a very fun game to play. Despite all the licenses you have to achieve, the beauty of it starts when you play the game more deeply and winning more money and free hungry-for-horsepower cars for you to modify and put them for a test or two. GT climbs the ladder step by step with improvements I couldn't think of. With Gran Turismo 5 waiting to be launched soon, I can assure you this game will be as grand as GT used to be. I'm hoping for aftermarket parts, accessories and custom made aerokits to be popped inside the game though to make it more fun.
Talking about Need For Speed: Shift, I couldn't agree more this time EA makes a very lovely looking NFS with its powerful graphics. For computer gaming system, the minimum requirement is as low as ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB or Nvidia Geforce 7800 GT 256MB graphic card. I love to try the game yet my lappy has OEM graphic card only..pppfffTTT!!! With more than 70 real cars, I bet it will be awesome to have all those cars pimped with unique paints, staggered wheels and extreme aerodynamics. You should check it out and have it in HD quality LCD for the true simulating experience :D For Wii users, EA simply call it Need For Speed: Nitro. It should be out by this November 2009. Why they call it Nitro instead of Shift, I don't really know. What I possibly know is that the graphic won't be as stunning as Shift though but I do hope it'd be more better than the previous NFS: Undercover.
Forget about NFS, I beg you to check out Gran Turismo's official GT5 video clip below. It is sooooo attempting to have a PS3 soon *winxxxx*

Joy

A new joystick my wife bought for Aiman replacing the old black Logitech wireless joystick which is officially beaten and dead =p
Well at least I still have another white Logitech wireless joystick to be paired with this new one. Not bad though personally I think Logitech is much better

Wishlists
I'm on my way thinking of:
A set of 160gb PS3
A pair of joysticks
A PS3 bluetooth Blu Ray Disc remote control
...and a GT5 Prologue edition (since there's no GT5 Simulator ever releases yet)
Now, that's a personal glory :)
And, ummm...no kids allowed!!!

Arcade
Subject: Aiman
Location: Uni Arcade
Hua Ho Tanjung Bunut
Anxious: 4/10
Pissed Off: 6/10 Well, everything went fine until I asked him to ride the bumper car. He was happy driving it and accelerated the pedal himself. What pissed him off was when the car bumped to another car. He was panicked and didn't want to drive it no more. He still does not understand that it's okay to bump with each other when it comes to playing the bumper cars. Anyway, next time around. Maybe with his cousin Muqri, it would be great to see 'em both hit the pedals and drive themselves off like adults driving real cars with auto transmissions!
Aslan (JP was the most memorable game playground ever in my life!)
First, he was really anxious playing games
Lotsa fun games for young kids and adults
Fun watching those kids unafraid of hammering their own bumper cars. Remind me of the old JP days
Aiman didn't want to play the bumper car no more. Gave him the chance to pose with his no. 1 hero
Still bored and wanting his mom to chill him out
Again, the only thing that he enjoyed a lot, arcade games
Bigger than those animal rides I'd seen at The MallLabels: Aiman, Arcades, Funs, Games

Total Non Stop Action

If you like watching TNA on Star World every Friday and Saturday nights, the game is already out on PS2. Don't expect the game settings to be the same like the Smackdown Vs Raw sagas okay. It's totally different. The graphics are fine, the wrestlers are cruel and if you are really into merciless fight modes, the game acts fast at the moment you press the buttons. I enjoy playing it, having new wrestlers to choose and test the techniques. It's not like when I'm playing Smackdown Vs Raw, the moves are quite the same and I pick the same wrestlers since SVR was made in their 1st edition (well, it was called Smackdown! back then without the Raw and of course there are a few newer wrestlers up to date). Currently enjoying the powers Samoe Joe have and my son loves the game too :) The downside is that there is not much game selections and everything is a bit simple than SVR. Nevertheless, I don't find it retarded though as the game plays just fine. Check it out if you want something different and certainly, if you are not a I-am-100%-WWE-fan-only type of person, hehe.

Genuine Partaker
When I was in Belait with my wife and our friend Mas meeting "Team KB" at Cikgu Zainal's house, I was surprised to see Cikgu Zainal's youngest daughter who was like 4 years of age playing this online games via laptops. The way she opened the explorer, typing down the site's name, opening games in new tabs, it wasn't natural for a 4 years old kid. I bet my son couldn't do that dou he is familiar with computers and such. Well, I did check out the site where she surfed, an interesting site for kids who wanna play simple and fun games, online. Make sure your internet connection is okay, each game may take minutes to load. If you think you love the game, bookmark it so that you don't have to wait it loading again when you wanted to play the same game. Chill!!
Aslan (I wasn't exposed with games not until I was like 5 years of age and it was juz a Game & Watch)
The young girl above is the master of Y8 online gaming :)
Currently my son loves this game, a funny game indeed! Try it!!Labels: Games, Kids
