Zakat

Did you guys pay your Zakat already? I'd paid this afternoon after attempted to pay it for 3 times starting from last Saturday. The Amils weren't there so I tried 2-3 mosques nearby and the story was still the same, they weren't there. Lucky for me managed to pay it today and accidentally the Iman/Amil was a long time mate at work...hmmmm, ada hikmah nya jua kali eh? It's 1 or 2 more days to go before Hari Raya, hopefully every Muslim has paid their duty :)

Total Non Stop Action

If you like watching TNA on Star World every Friday and Saturday nights, the game is already out on PS2. Don't expect the game settings to be the same like the Smackdown Vs Raw sagas okay. It's totally different. The graphics are fine, the wrestlers are cruel and if you are really into merciless fight modes, the game acts fast at the moment you press the buttons. I enjoy playing it, having new wrestlers to choose and test the techniques. It's not like when I'm playing Smackdown Vs Raw, the moves are quite the same and I pick the same wrestlers since SVR was made in their 1st edition (well, it was called Smackdown! back then without the Raw and of course there are a few newer wrestlers up to date). Currently enjoying the powers Samoe Joe have and my son loves the game too :) The downside is that there is not much game selections and everything is a bit simple than SVR. Nevertheless, I don't find it retarded though as the game plays just fine. Check it out if you want something different and certainly, if you are not a I-am-100%-WWE-fan-only type of person, hehe.

Congrats To Alonso

I didn't really watch the F1 Singapore Live Broadcast from the beginning, however, managed to watch a few snap of the qualifying rounds though. The live broadcast wasn't appropriated enough for me since I was not at home. Anyway, got the time to watch the final 11 laps before the end. What can I say, Alonso really did a very good job. The street track of Singapore is tricky but the atmosphere is overwhelming to me. With twice pit stops, he managed to control the race in the end. Too bad for Massa, the disastrous last minute error did make him lose his lap time and of course, his current rank jumped to 13. And I guess a real advantage for Lewis Hamilton to lead the personal driver's point. After all, it wasn't a day of either Ferrari or McLaren cuz Renault is certainly the best there in Singapore. Love to see Massa on the podium in their next race, but in the meantime, I put my respect on Alonso for watching him smile whilst the speaker screamed for the Spanish National Anthem.

Another Shooter

Another friend of mine who loves to take photos. I find some interesting photos that define certain stories in it. Just to make sure you dig it, you can find it at Fazer739's Flickr. Thank you Mr Adee for the link :)

Queued

It was less than 5 mins I left my wife there at Baiduri's ATM Machine and during that period, it was only a man and his kid queuing behind. And look at the difference just within 5 mins time, another 4 people queued! The machine is undoubtly slow and sometimes patience is not that relevant any longer. There is another ATM Teller of the same kind that processes twice more faster than this one and ironically it's more older.

A Dream Came True (Well, Sort Of!!!)

We were dreaming of having a huge barbecue set but instead of that, we're proud of this cute little barbecue kettle. Cost only $15.00 and..it's sold out already, laku kali ah, haha!!!

It was easily done, another thing I like with small thingies :)

After 10 mins, it's done. Hopefully we can taste our own barbecue chickens for tomorrow's Sungkai, nyum-nyum

*Blah*

Got back from work quite late, arrived at home like Sungkai for 3 mins already. The briefings were so exaggerating for those who were going to take over our working shift. Pretty stupid I think. The briefings should be done in summary, to give us the chance to go home early so we could prepare our Sungkai with our families (except those who take about an hour to arrive home from work, that's a pity of course). Some senior officers do think relevant in this case; thinking of giving a chance for 12.00pm-6.00pm shifters to go home early in despite of Sungkaing at home rather than while driving. But some are like today's officer; lame and retarded. Pffft 'em and poor us, sinned ourselves with crazy mumblings and curses...lol. Anyways, I'm at home now, relaxing, playing with my kids...ahhh, it's good to be home. Tomorrow is another longday shift. Cheers.

Message Of The Day

Don't really feel like blogging today, nothing interesting happened anyway. It was all about work, mingle with friends during work and see friends in the states of dejection, depression and not forgetting happiness. Life is just like that. Had my sungkai at work again along with our senior officer and storied ourselves about the tragic incident that had occurred in our department, been pitied our friends and stuffs like that. Too sensitive to discuss here anyway. Likewise, life goes on, and still goes on and on. We just take care of ourselves and do chill out whether you are in deep pressure, coz you are (actually) NOT alone.

Aslan (strange enuff I myself sometimes feel lonely when tension meets the eye)

Denied

Oh yeah, I insert another video from YouTube. It's not as popular as Metallica's but this Swedish band has now building momentums with their own new commercial genre of music, yet not throwing their extremity at all. From technical Melodic Death Metal to a lot more Metalcore influence, they are managed to step forward for a more worldwide recognition with their splendid musical songwritings and nowadays, doing video clips. They are about to release their 3rd album this month, check it out. The clip below is taken from their 2nd album "Only Inhuman". Their bassist, Karin is one of the best female bassists in extreme musical genres. She is simply energetic and going with the flow of the music itself! Anyway, enjoy Sonic Syndicate's video clip "Denied", cheers!!

Aslan (Thank you Mr Hasyadee for exposing me to Sonic Syndicate's music in the very first place :) Hail Adee)

For those who always have pain in their head especially the kanyat2 sort of headache, check out Mayfirst's Aroma Medic Oil, Yusnisi. It has a lot of functions, like to relief your headache, ill and swollen gum, nasal stuffiness, insect bites and small wounds. Remember Minyak Kapak? The smell and feel is the same. Well, despite of it's funny advert on Astro channels, the product is rather interesting :) Go surf here for more detail. Um, thank you very much Mas for introducing ;)

Exposure

Afrina has already been exposed with game consoles, but nothing impressed her more than her cousin's Nintendo DS. It's becoz of its touchscreen features and more fun characters I think. I bet in one year's time she can hold a joystick properly like her bro :)

Headache

Didn't blog yesterday night. Got this heavy headache before and after Sungkai. Had to get a little sleep until nearly 9pm but the pain didn't leave me alone. Surrendered myself with 2 tablets of Panadol. The pain was fully gone away after midnite when I was at my midnite shift. Not a good day to start my work precisely!

Now I'm at home. It's 7.35am, haven't sleep since last night (of course I'm not sleeping last night since I was at work *hmmmpff*), doing a buystop/sellstop on my trade and surfing the net before I take my sweet cold nap after this :) Chow Cin Cau!

Superhero Movie

Instead of watching Wanted, I remembered Mr Amir lent me 2 DVDs which the other one was Superhero Movie. I know this movie would at least more funnier and I needed my brain to rest a little bit from thinking hard of the non-humorous plots Wanted would have. It is typically Epic Movie, Meet The Spartans kind of genre, duplicating the real action movies to a more out of sense in your face low budget theater.

A story of a not so famous young teenager Rick Riker who had the special ability after been bitten by a genetic dragonfly (the plot was taken from the day Peter Parker got bitten by a spider in Spider Man). Lots of funny actions afterwards where the villiant named Hourglass had to absord human life once a day for him to stay alive. Love story ala Pete/MJ, the introduction to the abnormal world a la X Men, the viciously murdered parents like that of Batman Begins, everything was done in humourous ways. Anyway, don't expect for a killer story or production. This is only a movie that could make your boring day a little better :)

Thumbs Up BMC

Last week I was so desperate to buy round canned Canadian Corned Beef at a nearby shop yet it was no where to be found. There were brands of corned beefs, I had to pick one. I picked BMC's hoping it would taste as great as the usual corned beef we used to buy. Yea, it tasted more than I have ever expected; this beef smelt great and the sweet feel made it more voluptuous!! This one is my second try. Either for today's Sahur at home or maybe for my midnite shift's Sahur. Encourage people to seek one, hehe.

Aslan (thanx to my wife + Mr Amir for inspiring me that cooking corned beef needs the aura of a real corned beef lover so that the taste will be more nicer!!)

Death Magnetic

I first listen to Metallica in 1989 with the commencement song entitled Harvester Of Sorrow that was taken from the album ...And Justice For All. From that moment, I tried to scout their old materials and nowadays I do have 2 of their demos before Kill 'Em All ever recorded :) And everyone probably knows that the above title comes from Metallica newest album, ayte? I actually haven't got the space to listen to their tracks (I'll eventually get this album anyway) at the moment. My first listening was from the attached YouTube clip called "The Day That Never Comes". The oldschool Metallica used to have one long depressive song in each of their album (ie Sanitarium, One, Fade To Black..etc). To me, this song is a combination of all of those songs mentioned earlier. It's quite genuine classic Metallica influence mating with the St Anger era. Many listeners review that the song (including the album) is not as kick ass as their old materials (but many people agree it is far more better than the St Anger itself). As for me, hey, they are growing older. You can't expect James Hedfield to have a powerful voice like he was during Kill 'Em All or Master Of Puppets albums. The music itself is matured. I do hope this would bring the classic influences back in Death Magnetic. St Anger is just a prologue, thus I think they do know better how to classify their music nowadays.

Enjoy the video, it is extremely my Metallica musically!

Aslan (I'm still a rouge Thrash Metal Metallica fan dou)

Genuine Partaker

When I was in Belait with my wife and our friend Mas meeting "Team KB" at Cikgu Zainal's house, I was surprised to see Cikgu Zainal's youngest daughter who was like 4 years of age playing this online games via laptops. The way she opened the explorer, typing down the site's name, opening games in new tabs, it wasn't natural for a 4 years old kid. I bet my son couldn't do that dou he is familiar with computers and such. Well, I did check out the site where she surfed, an interesting site for kids who wanna play simple and fun games, online. Make sure your internet connection is okay, each game may take minutes to load. If you think you love the game, bookmark it so that you don't have to wait it loading again when you wanted to play the same game. Chill!!

Aslan (I wasn't exposed with games not until I was like 5 years of age and it was juz a Game & Watch)

The young girl above is the master of Y8 online gaming :)

Currently my son loves this game, a funny game indeed! Try it!!

This is a special order power ball mini owned by Mr Amir. The brand MOTHERS is not found in Brunei. It is one essential product actually and car enthusiasts around the globe use this brand as a professional tool for their cars besides the already known Meguiars. I know Mr Amir is impatience to have this in his grip, hehe.

Wow, boxes of kuih raya my wife bought from her friend. Doubt it would last until Syawal comes dou hehehe. Taste nice with different looks.

Ey, I have another niece, Adriana! No more Afrina as the youngest among the cousin :( It doesn't matter, she will be another cute girl like her sister Syasha in 2 years time, lol.
