PSP Reloaded

Hoho...it's been a while since my son's PSP sleep to extinction. Well, not really that unplayable though; it's just I accidentally upgraded its Official Firmware (OFW) from the modified version 3.72 m33 to OFW 6.10 which is used by PSP Go right now. In which, it has got any modified or custom firmware as yet or anything related to playing downloaded games that you got from your friends or the friendly websites. Unless you buy it from Sony official PSP sites, then you can play it.

Custom firmware really worth it ^^b

Hmmm, more than a month without PSP really made my son so unhappy eventhough there are computer games , iPhone games and game consoles at home. It still don't match how portable PSP is to him..lol. Anyway I had scouted 2 people who do modifying/upgrading things for PSP but to my sorrow, they couldn't downgrade the OFW to the current modified Custom Firmware (CFW) 5.50 Gen A to D. I was thinking of buying a new one to replace the already-dead PSP but anyway, I scouted for more people who really know how to downgrade it with their tools. I know how to downgrade, but I don't have enough tools to do it and eventually, it requires extra money to do so.

Yeah!!! At last, GI Joe on PSP

Thank God I met this young genius from his advertisement on the internet that really brightened my day when he said: it's a piece of cake to downgrade your PSP firmware!!! Wow, he really knows what he is doing dude..hahaha!!

Gran Turismo... this is for me, not my son!!!

Now the PSP got a stable firmware and with this upgraded 5.50 I can easily play more advanced games like Fifa 10, Gran Turismo or GI Joe (in which I think these games cannot be played if your OFW is below 5.00).... Phewww!!

Aslan (Thanks a lot Mr Hanan, you're a live saver!!!)

Unpleasant Views

First look, it seemed like we just hit by an earthquake or maybe a freaking tornado, but the ceilings were actually collapsed because of water from up stair. Both were caused by leaks from 2 of our bathrooms on the first floor. Well, one of these ceilings had been fixed by the owner though while the other one has to wait for further inspection on how to eliminate the leaks for good. Anyway, the rental house we're currently settled in is 20 years old already, so problems do occur. But we have a very generous landlord who responds quickly everytime we lodge our friendly complaints when the house needs its fix :))

THANK YOU VERY MUCH

The Joes

I waited for a very long time to have GI Joe's excellent picture quality movie (and sound quality too) on DVD since I missed watching it on cinema due to my busy schedules. Well, bought it 2 days ago since my son Aiman loves it (he plays the video game first before actually watches the movie).

Story-wise, I like it from the very beginning of the movie. It's not that complicated but every flash back from some of the characters are done well without exaggerating the whole story. So like with a little flashback you can understand why characters like Ana Lewis becomes evil, Rex (Ana's brother) is actually not dead and he's the mad scientist genius called The Doctor (then changes his name to Cobra Commander) and the true connections between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

Besides the action packs and beautifully enhanced effects, simple humors are sometimes worth it and viewers like myself do cheer up with the acts from
Marion Wayan and Said Taghmaoui. These things are well balanced in this movie, making it one of the powerful movies in 2009. Well, the continuity will be scheduled in 2010 I think with the title "The Pursuit Of Cobra". If that happens, I hope it will be more in-your-face feel than the previous "The Rise Of Cobra"!!!

Nusa Jaya Tutong Convocation 2009

Held at Dewan Seri Kenangan Tutong around 2.30pm, the convocation was a success with beautiful props and many happy faces from the candidates and participants. The parents were also very supportive, not just sat on the chair but stand in front of the stage or somewhere near to it; taking photos and videos of their kids in which it did give their children the spirits to become more productive and realistic when they performed on stage. Smiling faces from teachers, believing all their hard works to train these pupils how to dance, sing and speak on this very stage were worth it. I can say this year's convocation was far more better than last year. Thank you Nusa Jaya for giving us parents the best outcome and also to our children :D

Aslan (see you next year Nusa Jaya)

Current TV Fav-List November 2009

Love this series, the hosts are not that exaggerating, great car reviews and their thoughts on each car is splendid :) Really love watching Tiff drifting around with a JDM drift car!!!

This should be my no. 1 TV programme. But I'm so tired with their cheesy plot in every of their episode. So sometimes I'll let my self miss one or two episodes within 2 weeks just to wait until its pay-per-view prevails

You all should know how funny these ladies are. My favorite will always be Teri Hatcher coz eversince she did Lois Lane on Superman many years ago, her humors never fade away, she chills a lot here. So do the rest (and of course, the husbands too!)

Don't really remember when did I first watch Oprah. It must be when I started married with my wife 6 years ago that led me into loving this show. I'm not a fanatic but everytime I accidentally change the channel and it's Oprah's show, I will watch it until the end. It is a very interesting and informative show actually, especially when she tent to help the poor, she is a very generous lady, no doubt *thumbs up*

This is very new to me but when World Stage is on air, I really enjoy watching the show especially some great bands doing the concert with lots of screaming crowds off the stage. A very good refreshment to clear the mind :)
